Samsung had earlier announced that it is working on a Windows Mixed Reality headset which it plans to release in October. However the release was delayed and the company announced last month that the device will be available for pre order soon.

The Samsung Odyssey was revealed at the Mixed Reality event in San Francisco on October 3rd  and is expected to have a field of view of up to 110 degrees, with a 90Hz refresh rate.  The Headset would require the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update which was released on October 17th to the general public.

The Windows Mixed Reality Headset Samsung Odyssey is now available for pre order. The Headset comes with two pairs of 1440×1600 Super AMOLED Screens to provide a better and smoother experience from its competitors HP, Acer etc.

The device comes with a pair of built in AKG headphones and also a pair of Motion Controllers. The device is now available for pre order starting today and is priced at $499 which is the most expensive priced Windows Mixed Reality headset.

The device is currently out of stock and sold if you are planning to purchase it online but is  expected to be re stocked soon. However the device is available for purchase at Physical Microsoft Store locations and you can get it by clicking this link.
