Microsoft yesterday pushed out a new update for its OneDrive app for iOS devices. The latest update brings support for the new iPhone X which is to be shipped on October 27. The Redmond Giant had earlier confirmed that its apps on iOS need optimization to run without error and crashes on Apple’s iPhone X and is working on optimizing the apps on iOS devices.

The update to the OneDrive app is the first step taken by the Redmond Giant. The latest update has pushed the app to new version 9.6.2. The latest features brings support for Face ID for the OneDrive app which allows users to protect their accounts with the new facial recognition system.

The OneDrive iOS app is already having a Touch ID support option which allows users to protect their account with the fingerprint sensor. The update also comes with fixes for Microsoft Intune customers and a fix for the crash reported by users when using the “Copy to OneDrive” feature.

The OneDrive iOS app is now optimized to run error free on the new iPhone X and the Redmond Giant is working on pushing out updates for all its apps in the App Store to make it compatible and optimizable with iPhone X.

The latest OneDrive update is currently live for the iOS users and can be downloaded by clicking the below App Store link.
