Instagram recently released its Superzoom creators tool for users on iOS and Android. The Facebook owned company is now testing a new tool, Stop Motion Camera which lets users take a long series of photos which can be posted as GIF in the Stories.

Instagram had already cloned many of the Snapchat features to its Instagram app on all platforms and is currently working internally on a new tool. The Tool allows users to take a series of photos and after completion they would need to tap “done” to access the story editing tools like stickers and text.

After editing the Photos which will be converted to GIF, users can post the stop motion GIF to your story. The team is trying to expand its base with adding new features to its Instagram app which already holds a lot of customer base and the team has already seen lot of success with its already existent Boomerang feature.

The Tool is currently only in internal testing and we are not sure if the tool will eventually make it to the app globally. After successful testing we might soon be seeing a new feature for the Instagram app on all platforms.
