Fitbit for Windows 10 Mobile and PC is getting a major update with new features and performance optimization. Fitbit recently confirmed that the company is committed to Windows 10 Mobile as long as there are users and the latest Fitbit Ionic smarwatch is also supported on the Windows platform.

Today, Fitbit is being updated to version 2.26.2 and the new version is available for all Windows 10 devices including Mobile and PC. The update improves the performance of the app on Windows Phone, earlier it used to be sluggish but now you will notice a considerable improvement in overall performance.

Fitbit is a adding a new feature that lets you create playlists for the Fitbit Ionic, it can be created easily using the drag-and-drop feature in the app on the desktop. To create a platform, all you need do is drag and drop the songs you want to include. Fitbit has however removed the ability to change a playlist while music is transferring to avoid errors in the copying process.

The latest update has also fixed an issue where some customers couldn’t confirm their Strava account on Ionic. Apart from the above changes, the company has fixed some bugs and improved the stability of the app on low-end devices. Fitbit 2.26.2 for Windows 10 is rolling out, you can download it from the Microsoft Store.
