Microsoft today pushed out a new update for its Maps app for users on Windows 10 Mobile and PCs. The app has been bumped to new version 5.1708.2511.0. The update comes with some new features for the Windows 10 Mobile devices, the updated version is available for non-Insiders.

After the latest update users will now be able to check the timetable of the bus, metro by simply tapping or clicking the relevant icons. The timetable details will automatically appear on the list with all the upcoming departures.

There are also some improvements made to the Fluent Design language which was added to the Maps app some time ago. The Maps app has also received some minor improvements with regards to the performance along with fixes for minor bugs.

The Redmond giant stopped pushing out app updates to the Windows 10 Mobile Fast Ring Insiders until the release of Fall Creators Update to the general public, now as the Fall Creators Update which is available for all PC and Mobile users (on Release Preview Ring), the team has started pushing out app updates to users on Fast Ring.

The latest Windows Map app update is available for download in the Windows Store and it can be downloaded by clicking the below Microsoft Store link. As we noted above, the new update is rolling out to the non-Insiders.
