Microsoft and Harman Kardon have finally launched the all-new Invoke Cortana-powered speakers in the United States. The new speaker is available for purchase at Microsoft Store for $199.99. The Invoke speaker is available in two colour options; Pearl Silver (White) and Graphite (Black) for the same value.
The Invoke is the first Cortana-powered speaker from Harman Kardon, a company popularly known for its rich audio with the best-in-class design. Microsoft’s Cortana helps you improve your life by enhancing your day-to-day activity, just like Alexa, Invoke also supports music services such as iHeartRadio, Spotify Premium and TuneIn. Furthermore, Pandora music streaming service is also expected in a while as Microsoft is closely working with the company.
The Invoke is designed from premium materials and it offers 360-degree sound from three direct-radiating woofers. The speaker lets you control your favourite music with your voice and even turn the volume up and down.
As the Harman Kardon Invoke is powered by Microsoft’s digital assistant Cortana, you can get answers to questions and even check the latest news related to your interests such as cricket, politics and more. Thanks to Cortana, the Invoke speakers can sync with your Windows 10 PC, Windows Phone, Android and iOS.
Microsoft is also offering free Skype calling services with the Invoke, you can make free calls to the mobile phones and landlines in the US, Canada and Mexico for free, however, Microsoft has confirmed that Skype has the right to cancel the offer at any time.
