WhatsApp team has been working on improving their Messaging application for all the platforms. The team has now released a new update for its Windows Phone Beta Application. The app has now been bumped to new version 2.17.286.
The latest update is a minor one but adds some much wanted features. The app is now updated with support for Verified Businesses. The WhatsApp team has been working on bringing support for Verified Businesses for some time now.
WhatsApp marks businesses as verified and trust worthy and let users to have discussions with regards to bookings and more. The team has already been testing the Verified Business feature for iOS and Android platforms also.
The update also brings a new “Text Statuses” feature for Windows Phone users which lets them post status update in Text format apart from the already available Status feature. The team had already released the Text Status feature a month ago for users of iOS and Android and should be made available for Windows users very soon.
The above said Verified Business and Text Status features are currently hidden and should be enabled in the coming Beta updates for Windows Phone.
