Windows 10 Fall Creators Update
New windows 10 fall creators update 2017

Microsoft today released a new Windows 10 Insider Build for Fast Ring Non Skip Ahead Insiders. The team also released a new Insider Build 16296 this time for Slow Ring Insiders. This is the same build which was released to Fast Ring Non Skip Insiders last week.

The Build does not bring any new features but does come with its set of bug fixes and improvements for Slow Ring Insiders. With the latest Build Microsoft has fixed issues for Slow Ring Insiders related to Hyper V and more. Below is the full list of Issues fixed:

  • We fixed an issue where Hyper-V couldn’t create a VM on 3rd party network storage.
  • We fixed an issue where for the first few minutes after clean installing a non-English build many inbox app names might unexpectedly appear with English app names.
  • We fixed an issue where gaming apps using WebView with heavy use of HTML canvas might have unexpectedly had very low FPS in recent flights.

The company also notes that after taking the latest Insider Build Slow Ring Insiders will not be able to install any new or additional language packs currently. This issue should be fixed in the upcoming build for Slow Ring. However the existing Language packs will work as expected without issues.

If any of our users are on Slow Ring, then you would be seeing a new Insider Preview Build with version 16296. You can go to Settings>Update & Security> Check for Updates to download the Build. Do let us know if you find any issues after taking the update in the comments below.
