Microsoft is updating the Windows Maps app on the Windows Store for Windows 10 Mobile devices. The latest update hasn’t added any new features to Windows Maps but it appears that some bugs have been fixed with today’s update.

Windows Maps for Windows 10 Mobile has been updated to version to 5.1708.2511.0 on the Release Preview Ring. As per the changelog, tap on transit stops on the map to see arrival times feature has been added.

It is, however, an old changelog. As spotted by some users, the latest update for Windows Maps improves the overall performance of the app on the low-end device and it has also fixed some unmentioned bugs. Microsoft is rolling out the updated Windows Maps app to the Release Preview Ring Insiders.

Windows Maps is one of the best UWP apps available on the Windows Store. As the HERE map apps have been discontinued, Windows Maps is the best way to navigate with voice navigation and turn-by-turn driving, transit, and walking directions. You can download Windows Maps from the below Windows Store link.
