Microsoft has confirmed that it is planning to hold a Mixed Reality Showcase event on October 3rd in San Francisco. The press event will be strictly an invitation only event and will be hosted by Microsoft’s Technical Fellow Alex Kipman.
The event is understood to highlight Microsoft’s plans to address the mixed reality space but there seems to be no Live Streaming of the event which generally is the case with almost all Microsoft’s events.
Rumors are coming in that the company is not planning to release any new hardware during the event but will be only providing a clearer picture on how the HoloLens, PCs and Virtual Reality/Mixed Reality headsets have been planned by the Redmond Giant and its strategy in the area.
Microsoft is not planning to announce any new device related to the Surface Hardware in the upcoming event on October 3, we would be expecting the company to however give us more details on its Surface Devices in the Future Decoded Event to be held in London in October.
