With Windows 8, Microsoft launched the Windows Store, an app store to install apps and games. The Windows Store is limited to 10 devices on the same Microsoft account. It means you cannot use the same Microsoft account on more than 10 devices to install apps from the Windows Store.

Microsoft has been trying to improve the Windows Store on Windows 10 and today the company has increased the limit to 2000 devices on same account. From measly 10 devices, Microsoft is now letting the users install Windows Store apps on 2000 devices under the same account.

Microsoft hasn’t officially announced the change but you can confirm the same by opening the Microsoft Account website and on the devices page, you may see the updated numbers. Microsoft is still rolling out the change so it is not visible on all accounts at the time of filing this story

It is a good news for you if you were planning to buy the 11th Windows 10 device. The Windows Store is slowly getting new features and apps, Apple recently announced that iTunes is coming to the Windows Store later this year.
