Microsoft is currently rolling out the Fall update for Xbox One which is currently in preview to Insiders in the Beta Ring of the Xbox Insider Program. The Fall update has been in testing for some time now in the Alpha and Delta ring for Select members.
The new Fall Update for Xbox One would be rolling out with many new features which were in testing already for some time now. One of the biggest feature is the new UI which is now based on the Fluent Design System.
The Xbox team is also introducing a new redesigned Home menu layout with a new Light theme option. Other features include support for 1080p uploads via the Microsoft’s Mixer live streaming service and some under the hood fixes and improvements.
The Update will be available for download for Beta users from 6 p.m. PT/ 9 p.m. ET on September 6, or 2 a.m. on September 7 for those in the UK. However for users on the Xbox One’s Instant mode, the update will download automatically on the console.
For installing the build manually users would need to go to All Settings>System>Console Info & Updates and check for updates.
