Earlier in the year, Microsoft had started selling the Samsung Galaxy S8 in its own stores which was the partnership it had entered with the South Korean firm. Today the company confirms that Samsung’s QLED TV is now the official Xbox One X partner.

The Redmond Giant in an announcement confirms that the Xbox One X is the only device which offers true 4K UHD gameplay. The company says that for the Xbox One X experience to reach its full potential it would require a capable TV and hence Samsung’s QLED TV is seen as the best option for gamers.

The QLED TVs which are manufactured by the South Korean Giant are now the most recommended device for the Xbox One X buyers to enjoy 100 percent colour volume and the accurate colours which are the key features of the Samsung’s TVs.

Vice President of Marketing for Samsung Electronics America in a Statement said: “The arrival of true 4K UHD gameplay on the Xbox One X this Fall gives gamers the perfect reason to upgrade their television. If gamers are looking for a TV that delivers premium 4K HDR picture quality with industry leading design and smart functionality, then the QLED TV and Xbox One X are an unbeatable 4K gaming combination,”

Microsoft also revealed that Xbox One X customers who decide to purchase a Samsung QLED TV will be provided with a lifetime warranty against burn-ins as the display plays a key role in the overall experience when playing games.

The New Samsung’s TV will be available for testing in the South Korean company’s store and in Microsoft’s own location where Xbox One X is available. This option is currently offered only for customers in United States and should be made available for more markets in the coming months.
