The popular instant messaging app, Skype is picking up a new update on the Windows Store. Microsoft is now rolling out a pretty major update to Skype for Windows 10 PCs and Tablets. Windows Insiders on the Fast Ring with Skip Ahead enabled are only eligible for the update.
As you might have guessed already, the new version of Skype is not available for Windows 10 Mobile yet. However, it could be soon released to Release Preview Ring for Windows 10 Mobile. Skype for Windows 10 PC and Tablet has been updated to 12.4.634.0 and it brings improvement.
Microsoft has optimized the Skype app and now it works faster. Furthermore, Microsoft has also improved the groups feature. Another good addition to the app is the improved sync ability. Skype will now sync all data across Windows 10, iOS and Android.
