TheĀ ultimate media player, VLC is now receiving a new update on Windows 10 devices (Mobile, PC and Xbox One). The latest update once again adds no new features to the VLC app. As the app is ported to Microsoft’s Universal Windows Platform, the new update is available for all Windows Phones, PCs and as well as Xbox One.

VLC for Windows 10 has been updated to versionĀ 2.5.4. As noted above, the latest update brings improvements. Apart from the UX improvements, they have also fixed some bug and the app is now faster on low-end Windows Phones.

The developers have finally added the unmute shortcut. They have also fixed a network streams history deletion bug. Furthermore, the background audio bug on Xbox has been has been finally fixed.
