As we reported yesterday that Microsoft has released a patch update for the Anniversary Users with version KB4033637. We expected the update would have been to fix the Flash Player issues caused with the previous update.
Today the company has released the changelog for the update released for Anniversary Update users. The KB note published by Microsoft reveals that the update includes “Diagnostic and functional improvements for determining the applicability of updates in Windows 10 Version 1607. The files and resources in this update ensure that feature updates are installed seamlessly to improve the reliability and security of Windows 10,”
The company released the patch with version KB4033637 in late July and since then has been adding some fixes for the issues. Users who have received the update have been complaining of issues with PCs either being freezed or rebooting for no reason.
There has been no definite workaround provided yet by the Redmond Giant and the update still continues to roll out via Windows Update. Users who have already installed the update and are facing issues can remove the update completely by heading to Settings>Update & Security>Windows Update>View Installed update history>Uninstall updates and look for KB4033637 in the list. You would need to select the appropriate version and click on uninstall to delete the update.
If any of our users have already installed the update and are experiencing issues make sure to delete the update by following the given above steps.
