Facebook owned Instagram today is pushing out a new update for its app. The latest update brings a new option for users on Instagram who posts videos and photos regularly. Users will now be able to post photo albums in landscape and portrait mode.

Currently the users are only able to post square format photos, but with the latest update this is going to change and users can post pictures in the format of their choice. However users will currently only be able to choose  one photo format and have to continue posting photos and videos in the choosen format as of now.

Users generally like posting photos and videos in Portrait, Landscape and square mode and hence the availability of Portrait and Landscape mode to the already available square mode is a good change.

You can post 10 photos together like earlier but now in the format of your choice and this will be a welcome change by lot of Instagrammers. The update is currently rolling out currently for users on iOS and Android and should be made available for Windows 10 users in the coming weeks or days.
