Microsoft’s Dona Sarkar yesterday hinted that a new build could be released to Windows 10 Mobile and PC later today. However, the Windows Insider head shared on Twitter that there won’t be any new builds today.
Dona Sarkar hasn’t confirmed whether or not Windows 10 Mobile will get a new build. Although, usually the company releases builds for both mobile and PC together on the same day.
“We’ve hit a rollback bug with our build candidate. Keeping an eye on more data so no Fast Ring build release today,” says Sarkar. One should not expect a build for PC but as there is no confirmation from Microsoft, we can still expect an update for Windows 10 Mobile.
It’s been a while since Microsoft released a preview update for Windows 10 PCs on the Fast Ring. While on other hand, last week Microsoft pushed Windows 10 Mobile Build 15240 Fast Ring Insiders with improvements and bug fixes.
Recently, the company also confirmed that they are working to fix a bug on Windows 10 Mobile that blocks the ability to update apps. A new Windows 10 Mobile Fast Ring Build is also likely to have the fix for the issue Insiders reported last week.
