When Microsoft had launched their new version of Windows called Windows 10 S at the #MicrosoftEdu event they also promised that affordable Windows 10 S devices will be available for $189 in the coming days from various OEMs. While Microsoft had launched their premium device Surface Laptop with Windows 10 S and since then few other OEMs like HP and Dell have also launched their Windows 10 S device.

From today Asus will be starting their first Windows 10 S device at a cost of $279. The new device is named the VivoBook W202. It has a 1.6-inch HD display with 4GB of RAM powered by Intel’s 1.1GHz Celeron N3350 processor. The laptop has 64GB of internal storage and also has a 0.3-MP camera on the front that can be used for Skype calling. It has two USB 3.0 ports, an SD card slot, one HDMI port.

Windows 10 S installer is now also available for download. You can try Windows 10 S on your PC for no additional cost. Furthermore, Microsoft had also recently released ISO images of Windows 10 S for developers that are available on the MSDN subscription site.
