Microsoft has released a new update to Windows Maps on Windows 10 Mobile devices. The update has no major changes but a new feature has been introduced. The update was earlier available to Windows Insiders on the Fast Ring but today it has been pushed to everyone.
Windows Maps has been updated to versionĀ 5.1706.2001.0 with today’s release. You will now have greater control over voice navigation options. Earlier, the voice navigation was available over phone’s speaker but now you can select between Bluetooth and phone.
Furthermore, Microsoft has added three volume options. You will find three volume options categorised under softer, normal and louder. The other noticeable changes are improvements and bug fixes.
The latest update for Windows Maps is still rolling out to non-Insiders. You can check for updates by visiting the Windows Store. Alternatively, you can open the below link and download the updated app.
