After a long delay, Microsoft has finally launched the Alcatel Idol 4 Pro in the UK. You can now purchase the smartphone from the Microsoft Store for £419.99. Alcatel’s Windows Phone is likely to attract the customers in the Europe as the phone performed really well in the US market.

Alcatel Idol 4 Pro was supposed to launch on July 26 but Microsoft delayed the release until 7th August and later 10th. However, starting today, the phone is finally available for purchase.

The Idol 4 Pro is the rebranded of the Idol 4S. Alcatel launched the Idol 4S with Windows 10 Mobile almost 8 months ago. Both phones look same and have identical features.

Alcatel Idol 4 Pro comes with a 5.5-inch AMOLED display and it has a Full HD (1920x1080px) resolution, Asahi Dragontrail Glass. The smartphone is powered by Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage, it also supports 128GB microSD card.

It features 21MP rear camera with Sony IMX230 sensor, HDR support, 4K video recording at 30fps, and dual-LED flash. On the front, there is an 8MP front-facing camera with wide angle lens, 1080p video at 30fps, and LED flash. It also supports Quick Charge and Windows 10 Mobile’s Continuum feature. Alcatel has also added the fingerprint sensor, Windows Hello to the phone.
