Microsoft has recently announced ‘Skip Ahead’ feature in Windows 10 for Windows Insiders. The feature basically let Insiders ‘Skip Ahead’ to the next Windows 10 Update. A Microsoft employee recently confirmed that the skip ahead option is not coming to Windows 10 Mobile.

Microsoft today rolled out a new build for Windows 10 Mobile on the Fast Ring. The update comes with only bug fixes and improvements. Surprisingly, Microsoft has also added the Skip Ahead option and you can access it from the settings. However, it seems to be a mistake.

Microsoft’s Brandon LeBlanc‏ confirmed on Twitter that the skip ahead option in Windows 10 Mobile is just a bug. He also noted that the option won’t do anything, it means you cannot get Redstone 4 builds via the skip ahead option.

“We’re working on the next update for Windows 10 Mobile now which is what you see via Feature2 now, Brandon adds. He recently confirmed some new features will be released for mobiles.
