Microsoft off late has been promoting its Edge browser by built in ads for Windows 10 users. Microsoft Edge growth has however not been increased even after the publicity but has remained stagnant for most of the month at 5.65% in July.

The stats for July 2017 reveal that Internet Explorer has lost market share in the month of July and is now at 16.5% from earlier 16.84% in the month of June. Chrome on the other hand has also not been able to garner much share and has moved from 59.49% in June to 59.57% in July whereas Firefox has seen an impressive growth from 12.02% in June to 12.32% in July.

However in spite of the Redmond Giant promoting Microsoft Edge via the in built ads in Windows 10 it has not helped the browser to gain substantial market share and has remained stagnant in the last couple of months.

Edge is NOT secure and should be avoided. AT Pawned 2017 it was hacked at will. Penetrated over and over again. Chrome was the only browser unhackable in the time allotted.
