Microsoft today pushed out a new update for its Teams app for Windows 10 Mobile. The update has bumped the app to new version 1.0.27.0. The update comes with some much needed new features along with the usual bug fixes and improvements.

The company has added the ability to upload files in team conversations, search functionality and support for two new languages Norwegian and Thai. The app has also received some UI tweaks with the latest update.

Users can now share files along with pictures and gifs with colleagues in the team channels. The new change is welcome by the users since earlier they were only able to download files but could not share them. To share files users would need to click on the new paperclip icon.

Apart from sharing files the team has also introduced the search functionality which makes its possible to search for people and messages across organisation which is a welcome feature especially for large organisations.

The UI of the app has been altered a bit by moving the menu bar to the bottom of the screen instead of top. The bar on top is now being used as a headline to show where you are in the app. This option makes the UI more easy and less confusing to the users like earlier were the Navigation and Headlines were in the same bar on the top.

The team has also updated its Microsoft Teams app with new features for iOS devices. The company is still working on adding new features which are currently available for iOS and Android devices and not on Windows Phones.

The update is currently live for Windows users and can be downloaded by clicking this link.
