Microsoft is now rolling out a new update to the People app on Windows 10 Mobile Devices. The update has been focused on the improvements and fixes. There are no noticeable changes in the UI or the features. Windows Insiders on the Fast Ring are reportedly receiving the update.
Microsoft People app has been updated to version 10.2.2001.0. Microsoft People speed has improved significantly and there are fewer lags while scrolling. The app now works smoothly on low-end devices.
The People app ditched the Fluent Design in the previous update. The Fluent Design is still not stable on low-end Windows 10 Mobile. However, Microsoft is working to optimise the performance on Windows 10 Mobile Devices.
Microsoft has been preparing its Fluent Design System, an approach to effectively make cross-device experiences that look ideal for a variety of screen shapes and sizes. It’s intended to help applications work accurately crosswise over everything from phones, through tablets, to laptops and desktop PCs with big displays.
