Windows 10 Mobile has been receiving the preview update that has only bug fixes. Even not a single change could be noticed by the Windows Insiders in Windows 10 Mobile Preview Builds. Microsoft has always released the changelog of the updates and it had only bug fixes.

Microsoft’s Brandon LeBlanc now claims that Windows 10 Mobile Builds are not only about the bug fixes. However, Brandon’s claim makes no sense as even the official changelog states only bug fixes and no new features.

A Windows Phone user asked Brandon, “Could we see the Feature2 Builds as Cumulative updates for the Creators Update for Mobile since all the Feature2 Builds are bug fix builds? To which he replied, “No and that’s not entirely true that all they are is simply bug fixes.”

Things changed for Windows 10 Mobile when Microsoft moved the OS away from the development branch. Windows 10 Mobile now receives the updates from the feature_2 branch and it has only bug fixes. The new features are now being tested internally on the development branch but Windows Insiders have no access to it.
