Microsoft had last week released Windows 10 Build 15063.483 to Windows 10 Mobile Creators Update devices. This cumulative update didn’t had any new feature and had the usual bug fixes and performance improvements. Some users have been reporting about a bug in this build which is blocking the ability to download or update apps on the Windows Store. Now it looks Microsoft have noted that and are ready to bring it’s fix in the next update.

Brandon LeBlanc, the Senior Program Manager of Microsoft has replied on Twitter to a user’s request and said that Microsoft has fixed this problem and would soon be providing the fix with the next cumulative update.

Until Microsoft releases the update you can fix this error by moving all your apps from SD Card to phone’s internal storage. You will also need to set primary storage to phone’s internal memory. This would be a really painful process if you had installed many apps on your phone.

Windows Phone users are already having a lot of problems because of app gap and now this issue will frustrate them more. We hope Microsoft would release the update quickly and give some relief to users.
