Microsoft recently released a new Windows 10 PC Build to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring. Microsoft has added a lot of new features and improvements to Windows 10 operating system with the new build.

Microsoft hasn’t mentioned one of the interesting change introduced with the new build. The company has now enabled the feature that lets you limit Windows Update bandwidth in Windows 10.

If you don’t want your data to be consumed by Windows Update. You can limit Windows Update’s bandwidth usage. It has been a highly requested feature and the latest preview update finally added the ability.

How to limit Windows Update bandwidth in Windows 10

  1. Make sure your PC is running the latest Windows 10 PC Preview build.
  2. To limit Windows Update bandwidth feature: Open Settings app.
  3. In settings app,  navigate to Windows Update -> Advanced Options -> Delivery optimization -> Advanced options.
  4. You will find the option on the screen.
