Microsoft had launched Class Notebooks for OneNote to make lives of educators easy by offering them to create lesson plans, share documents and more. The Class Notebook was utilized by lot of teachers and students over a period of time.

Microsoft had made sure to push out updates and keep improving the Notebook Add In. Today the company is rolling out a new update which brings integration of Learning Management system and Student Information System for Edsby.

The latest update pushes the app to new version 1.7.0 and comes with Assignment and Grade integration improvements for Skooler  and Schoology and Edsby integrations. The company has also added new sticker packs which can be used to add some flair or colors to your notes.

The company has also brought an update for the Learning Tools add in which improves reading comprehension along with improvements made to the Syllables accuracy for English, Addition of four new languages – French, German, Italian and Spanish with improvements having been made for word detection and highlighting for Chinese and Japanese.

However we would also like to point out that the support for highlighting for the four languages is currently not available and is expected to come later in the summer. The Office 365 subscribers with OneNote can find the new Researcher tool to streamline workflow and increase productivity.
