WhatsApp team today released a new update for its Official version of the WhatsApp application for Windows Phone. The app has been bumped to new version 2.17.204.0. The update comes with new features enabled and some hidden along with the usual bug fixes and improvements to the application.
The new features have already been tested on the WhatsApp Beta application for some time now. Below is the full changelog:
- Users can now pin chats- Pin to top (Max 3 chats) to the top of the chat page.
- New Location Icon
- Improvements to the location service.
- You can now view a received video while it is downloading.
- Usual Bug fixes and improvements.
There are some more new features which have been released but are currently hidden like the new Live Location features along with the Revoke message option.
The hidden features have not yet been released to the beta Application for Windows Phone users and hence will take some more time to be made available to the general public.
