WhatsApp team has released a new update for its Beta app for Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile. The update bumps the app to new Version 2.17.176.0. The update comes with some new features along with the usual bug fixes and improvements. Today’s update has a ‘pinned contact’ feature that has been available on the Android version of the WhatsApp app already. Now with this feature you can pin your favourites contacts to the top of your chats list for easy access. Currently WhatsApp Beta app allows up to 3 contacts to be pinned.
We have already reported that WhatsApp is also working on bringing its “Snapchat” like Status feature on both its Web and Desktop application. They are currently testing it internally for the launch. In their last update for Whatsapp beta a few days back , they had also added the ability to make payments using a wallet, credit cards, debit cards and bank accounts which was a Hidden feature.
