Microsoft today released lot of app updates for users on Windows 10 PC and Mobile. The company released app updates to Skype, Photos, Mail and Calendar apps along with the Store itself.
Users have been reporting that they are being met with issues while downloading the app updates with error code 0x80246019 and are unable to install the updates. The issues seems to be effecting lot of users around the world with users reporting the issue in the Feedback Hub.
Currently we are not sure if the issue is affecting only for the above mentioned apps or all the apps that are being downloaded from the Store. Microsoft is currently aware of the issue and is working on fixing the issue at the earliest.
Some users have reported that pausing and resuming the update or cancelling the update and reopening the Store app has made the apps to download, but this option is not working for all the apps on the update list.
Hence we request users to currently wait for a fix to be pushed out by the Redmond Giant before trying anything untoward. We @ Windows Latest will keep you posted once the app update issue has been fixed by the company.
