Microsoft yesterday released a new update for Office 2016 on Windows. The update is available for Office Insiders on Slow ring and the update version is 1705. The Latest update is the Preview of May feature update for Office 365 subscribers.

With the latest update Microsoft has added lot of new features for Office 365 subscribers. The company has added closed captions to a video to make it PowerPoint accessible. Users can now copy cells and before pasting can do other tasks like typing or inserting cells.

Users now also have the option of new data transformation meaning when users type Excels detects the required transformations and shows a preview of the new column. Users will also be able to easily import and shape data from various sources, Manage workbook queries and connection with Queries and Connection Side pane and share queries with others via ODC Files.

Users part of the Office Insider program in Slow ring will be able to get the latest update by heading to File>Account>Update Option >Update Now.
