Instagram is currently working on live Stories which are coming to the Explore tab. Users will now be able to browser Stories by location and their Hashtag as long as they are shared from a public account.

The new feature will show off lots of photos and videos shared around the world every day on Instagram. Starting today users will be able to see new “rings” at the top of the Explore feed showing you Stories taking place near your physical location. If users would like to hide an individual post from search go to the list of story viewers and tap “X” on the Story.

Instagram’s twist on the search is to enable it for hashtags as well as locations. Search #ootd to browse other peoples outfits of the day, for example, or #fromwhereirun to marvel at the self-absorption of joggers. Hashtag search will be available in “coming weeks,” the company said.

The Location and Hashtag feature is already rolling out to users on iOS and Android with version 10.22 and should be available to Windows Users in some weeks or days.
