Microsoft at its Shanghai China Event today announced that its next generation gaming console, Project Scorpio is going to make its way to China this year. The company is expected to reveal more details of the Project Scorpio at the E3 show next month.

Project Scorpio is expected to sport 8 CPU cores, clocked at 2.3GHz and will come with 12GB of DDR5 RAM along with a 326GB/s Memory bandwidth, 2.5 inch 1TB Hard drive and a 4K UHD Blu ray drive.

Apart from the Project Scorpio the Redmond Giant also announced the availability of the Surface Studio to China. The Surface Studio is a new device designed for creative process and comes with a roomy and adjustable 28 inch Pixel Sense Display which provides a huge canvas for all kinds of work.

The Surface Studio is available for pre order starting today and will be shipping from June 15th. Microsoft has also announced that it will be bringing the Surface Laptop to China markets as well and the same is available for pre order starting today with shipping to begin on June 15th.
