WhatsApp team after 10 days of silence has finally updated the Beta App on Windows Phone to new version. The app has been bumped to new version 2.17.160.0. The update comes with a new Location Icon Change.
The Team has now changed the UI of the Location Icon similar to iOS and Android application. Please see the screenshots of both Old and New Icons. The team is currently working on bringing the Live Location feature and Revoke option to the App on All platforms.
Apart from the UI change there are the usual bug fixes and performance improvements to the application. The Revoke option should be available to all users via a Server update sooner than later along with the Live Location option which is currently disabled for the WhatsApp application on all platforms.
