Slack team today released a new update for its App for Windows and Mac Operating Systems. The company has added the ability for users to share your screen while on call. This feature is similar to that on Skype which had been available for several years now.

All your notifications will automatically get muted on Slack when you are sharing the screen so that the users don’t get distracted during the call. Currently the Screen Sharing features is only available for Paid users and we hope the same will be made available to all users very soon.

The update is currently available for the desktop app here if you are running older versions of Windows and for Windows 10 users the update can be downloaded by clicking the below Windows Store link.
