Microsoft today at the Build 2017 announced that it is bringing some major upgrades for its Cognitive services. Harry Shum Executive Vice President of Microsoft’s AI and Research group demoed an upcoming feature for Power Point.

The company is working on bringing a new Presentation Translator for PowerPoint that will translate presentations in real time. The Presentation Translator will be using Microsoft’s newly announced Translator APIs to enable this functionality.

The Vice President also said that the Presentation Translator won’t actually show the translated slides in real time but will provide live transcriptions of the presenter into specific language and viewers will be able to get a unique link for specific language.
