The Facebook owned company, Instagram today said that it is providing some new features to its Web users in order to have users experience of both the native app and the web app. The Instagram team is adding an Explore tab and allowing users to upload photos without downloading the hefty app to their devices.

Facebook’s Instagram app now runs on Windows 10 PCs, Phones and Tablets and is also available on every major platform now including web. The new Web option is limited to the mobile web version so users browsing from mobile devices like iPad, iPhone, Android Phones and tablets are able to access Instagram’s site features.

However user’s cant apply any filters nor can see stories as can be done with the Mobile app of Instagram.  The web app is for users who really want to use Instagram to view and share photos and not get fussed with live streams and stories.
