Microsoft today announced that it has joined hands with Arnab Goswami’s Media Venture “Republic” as its First Technology Partner. The company says that with the Partnership the Media house is expected to get access to Microsoft’s latest hardware and software offerings to deliver superior news visualization experience for viewers.

In an interview, the Editor in Chief and Founder of Republic, Mr. Arnab Goswami said:

“We are excited and thrilled to work with Microsoft as we launch Republic. We are a media-tech company and we are confident that together with Microsoft, we will change the way media and technology come together for a world class product for the generation next. This partnership is just the beginning.”

The Media Venture will be using Microsoft products and services designed to make newsrooms more productive. Azure is supposed to be the host the completer digital content for Republic.

The Redmond Giant also said that the Media Company would be using Surface Pro 4 devices, Surface Hub and Office 365 services for increasing the productivity. Mr. Anant Maheshwari, President Microsoft India said:

“We are extremely excited to power this digital transformation in the media and entertainment space with integrated hardware and software experiences.”
