Microsoft earlier in the week had an education related event in the New York City where it announced the new Windows 10 S Operating System mainly targeted at educational sector.

The company is going to have another set of software related event in the next week at its annual developer conference, Build 2017. Now we are getting news that the company is planning to have another event later this month on May 23rd.

The company has already started to send invites to the event which is simply called as Microsoft Event. It is expected that Microsoft Surface’s Panos Panay will be present at the event on May 23rd.

The event is being planned this time in Shanghai which is against the usual history of the Redmond Giant since the company generally holds device launch event in New York city. We currently have no news as to what Microsoft is planning to unveil at the event.

It is expected that Microsoft may unveil a new Surface Pro 5 device at the event which would be a successor to its Surface Pro 4 device which recently got the China Compulsory Certificate in April.

The details on what exactly Microsoft plans to unveil at the event are scare but we hope to get more information on the plans in the coming weeks and we @Windows Latest will be updating the article as and when we have more info.
