Microsoft today launched its new Surface Laptop powered by new version Windows 10 S at an event in New York City. The Surface laptops are priced at $ 999 for the lowest end model and is available for pre orders starting today on the Microsoft Store US Website.

The company says that device will start shipping on June 15th which is just over a month from today. The low end Surface Laptop comes with a 128GB SSD, 4GB RAM and an Intel Core i5 Kaby Lake CPU.

The higher end model includes 512 GB SSD, 16GB RAM and an Intel Core i7 Kaby Lake CPU. The Laptop comes with Microsoft’s new edition of Windows 10 that’s locked to the Windows Store.
