Microsoft officially announced a new version of Windows 10. The Windows 10 S has been officially announced at its #MicorsoftEDU event in New York City today.

Windows 10 S is special designed for the students, and it is company’s next take on Google’s Chromebook. Windows 10 S is internally known as Windows 10 Cloud. Microsoft also revealed that the Windows 10 S devices’ prices will start at only $189, which is very affordable.

Microsoft partners Acer, Asus, Dell, Fujitsu, HP, Samsung, Toshiba will soon launch new hardware for the Windows 10 S. These hardware partners to be planning to launch new Windows 10 S devices in upcoming months, starting from just $189. All of these devices will also include a free one-year subscription to the Minecraft: Education Edition.

Furthermore it will also include the Office 365 for Education, including Microsoft Teams and more! Microsoft is also making Windows 10 S free for all schools on their existing Windows Pro PCs. The new Windows 10 version will be available this summer.
