It’s Good Friday today, but folks at Microsoft pulled out two new Redstone 3 build for Fast ring Insiders. After last week’s one and along with build 15204 for Mobile devices, Windows Update is now delivering build 16176 for PC and tablets enrolled. And this time there’s a new feature!

Indeed, Windows Subsystem for Linux gains serial device support, so with buildĀ 16176 Windows COM ports can now be accessed directly from a WSL process.
