LinkedIn, now a Microsoft owned company has announced that they are today rolling out smarter messaging experience for its Desktop users. The users will now be able to message from anywhere via the Desktop app on LinkedIn.

Users now have the ability to start an instant conversation without losing the context by while connecting with a former colleague or searching for a job. LinkedIn has also added relevant suggestions within messaging on the Jobs and Company pages to help users start a conversation.

After the latest update, LinkedIn will now show you which of your connections work or who can introduce you to someone at the company. Users now have the option to reply quickly with one simple tap on mobile.

The update is currently rolling out and should be available for users on Android and iOS with the latest feature.
