Microsoft has been working on bringing the Office Suite apps to the Start Menu of Windows 10. The company yesterday released the first Redstone 3 Windows 10 Build 16170 for PC in the Fast Ring.

With the latest Redstone 3 Build Microsoft is currently bringing the Office Suite apps to the Start Screen for PCs by including links on the Start Menu. The Links currently don’t work but this should be resolved in the upcoming new Builds to be released for Redstone 3.

The inclusion of Links for the Office Suite apps on the Start Menu proves that UWP apps are just not sufficient and the customer desires more from the company and the links addition to the Start Menu is the step taken the company to meet the need of the consumers.
