Microsoft is now rolling out a new Build to Xbox One Devices in the Beta Ring. The company has pushed the new preview build to Windows Insiders and it comes with several bug fixes. The latest preview build rs2_release_xbox_1704.170330-1900 has a lot of fixes and improvements. A few days ago, Microsoft has released the same build to Xbox One Devices in the Alpha Ring. The update will be available for download on Xbox One Devices as of 6:00AM PDT.
Microsoft hasn’t detailed the fixes released with this update for Xbox One Devices. However, as it is a preview build, it comes with several bugs and the company has listed known issues in the changelog.
Microsoft has released the build with an annoying bug. The audio output setting is no longer accessible but it will be back with upcoming updates. The company has also planned to enable the support of Dolby Atmos for home theater, Dolby Atmos for headphones and more with the upcoming preview builds. Furthermore, you will face some problems while launching the Wireless Display app, ultimately the app will crash.
Microsoft is still rolling out the update, so it may or may not be available on your Xbox Device yet. If you are not seeing the update, your device would get upgraded to the current build in the coming weeks. It is worth mentioning that if the Instant-On mode is enabled on your device and your console is configured to receive updates, the device will begin downloading and installation of the update and reboot to standby. To get the update, you need to go to the System Menu in Settings on Xbox and check for updates.
