Microsoft’s Windows 10 is deeply integrating devices running on the operating system. Yesterday, Windows Store on all Windows 10 Devices received a major update. The update introduced a lot of new features, the biggest change introduced is the new download progress bar. Instead of the previous fat (and ugly) looking bar, there’s a new sleek one and it also comes with a download speed indicator.
Microsoft has also added a another new feature to the Windows Store. Now it allows you to install apps directly to the Xbox One Devices using your Windows 10 PC. However, the feature will only work if Windows 10 PC and Xbox One are using same Microsoft Account. For example, when you will click on the download button, the next time you will turn on the Xbox Device, the app will get installed automatically in background.
However, the feature is currently not available on Windows 10 Mobile but it would be not surprising if Microsoft enables the feature on phones. You can try out the feature by updating your Windows Store app to latest version on PC and Xbox console.
