Facebook is currently working on Adding a new “Stories” option to its main app on Desktop. The option works on similar lines to Snapchat Stories. The company had earlier added similar Stories/Status option to its other apps Instagram, WhatsApp.
The addition of the “Stories” option is another assault on Snapchat which the company has planned by adding more Snapchat features to its other Social Apps like Messenger, WhatsApp, Instagram.
Users of Facebook’s app can now use their phone camera to take a photo of their food or some other fleeting ephemeral moment and post it on their ”story” direct to the feed much similar to Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger.
The update is currently rolling out to users on iOS and Android and should be available to Windows 10 users sooner than later. We will be updating this article once we have info on the release of Stories Feature to Windows Platform. If you are not having the Facebook App installed for Windows 10 you can do so by clicking the below link.
