Microsoft has just released a massive update for its Groove Music app on Windows 10. Currently being available to Fast Ring insiders, the version number has been bumped to 10.17022.1030 and it brings a couple of new features.

This update was previously available for Slow and Release Preview rings and is now rolling out to insiders in the fast ring. Bringing a major UI overhaul, the update switches to tabbed interface in My Music, from where you can access your Songs, Albums and Artists. Your Groove has also been renamed to Recommended for clarity. There is also the usual minor bug fixes and improvements that should help.

Available on both Mobile and PCs, this update is a large one in many days. Though not available to the production build users, our take is that this update will come bundled with the Windows 10 Creators Update. As many of Microsoft’s stock apps will benefit from Creators Update, they will be updated when the OS gets updated too.
